The brief from Samaritans Northampton was to create an eye-catching promotional video for Facebook that would encourage visitors to the local charity shop. We decided to focus on the vast range of products they have in store. There were too many to show them all, plus they have a quick turnover of stock. So, we chose a rapid style edit to reflect the abundance and variety of products. The shop front was recently redecorated with their brand colours and is very eye-catching. To take advantage of this, using our editing techniques in post-production, we placed some of the video within the window display of the shop. The result was a playful, visual showcase of their charity shop. Finally, we used motion graphics in their branded colours to share their message ‘bag a bargain, make a difference’.
